Independent information service
Jasper Journeys is an independent visitor and community information website. It is not Parks Canada, the Municipality of Jasper, Tourism Jasper, an emergency service, a transportation authority or a booking provider.
Use current official information
Weather, wildfire conditions, roads, trails, closures, transit, parking, wildlife activity, business hours, prices and availability can change without notice. Confirm information that affects safety, access, money or travel with the responsible official authority or provider before acting.
No emergency or professional advice
Call 911 for an emergency when service is available. Content is general information and is not medical, legal, financial, rescue, avalanche, navigation or professional safety advice. Users remain responsible for their decisions, preparation, equipment, ability level and compliance with laws, closures and park rules.
Maps, coordinates and location features
Maps and coordinates are planning aids. GPS, mobile service, third-party map tiles and location controls can be unavailable or inaccurate. Approximate planning areas must not be treated as surveyed boundaries, legal access points or verified transit stops. Never use the map to enter closed, restricted, private or unsafe areas.
External services and bookings
External links, maps, advertisements, affiliate links and booking providers are operated by third parties under their own terms and privacy policies. Review the provider, total price, taxes, cancellation policy, meeting location, eligibility and accessibility information before purchasing. Jasper Journeys is not a party to a transaction completed with an external provider unless explicitly stated in writing.
Advertising and affiliate relationships
Jasper Journeys may receive payment for clearly labelled advertising, sponsored placement or eligible affiliate transactions. Commercial relationships do not guarantee availability, quality, safety or suitability and do not override editorial verification or official-source guidance.
Business and community submissions
Submitting a listing, event, deal, correction, image or resource does not guarantee publication. Submitters must have authority to provide the material and must supply accurate information. Jasper Journeys may edit, decline, label, update or remove content to protect usefulness, accuracy, safety, rights and visitor trust.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise identified, Jasper Journeys branding, original writing, graphics and site design may not be republished commercially without permission. Third-party names, trademarks, maps and linked materials remain the property of their respective owners.
Availability and limitation
The site may be changed, interrupted or unavailable. To the extent permitted by law, Jasper Journeys is not liable for losses caused by reliance on outdated information, third-party services, connectivity, user location, closures, weather, wildlife, travel decisions or external transactions.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with operation, scrape it in a way that harms service, submit unlawful or misleading material, impersonate another person or use content to facilitate unsafe or illegal activity.
Changes and contact
These terms may change as the service develops. Continued use after publication of revised terms means the revised terms apply. Questions can be sent to hello@jasperjourneys.ca.
