How Jasper Journeys handles advertising, cookies, external services and information you choose to send us.
Effective date: August 21, 2026. Jasper Journeys is an independent tourism and community information website serving Jasper, Alberta.
Information you provide
If you email us, we receive the information in your message, such as your name, email address and any details you choose to provide. We use it to answer the inquiry, manage a business listing or advertising request, correct site information, and maintain necessary business records. Do not send sensitive personal information.
Information saved on your device
The audience selector and local checklist can store simple preferences in your browser’s local storage. These preferences remain on that device and are used to reopen useful pathways or checklist state. You can clear them through the site controls or your browser settings.
Installable site and offline support
If you install Jasper Journeys, the browser may store interface files and an offline safety page through a service worker. Live and changeable travel pages use a network-first approach and are not intentionally presented as current when offline. Removing site data or uninstalling the site clears this stored material according to your browser or operating-system controls.
Advertising and cookies
This website uses Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, device identifiers or similar technologies to deliver, measure and personalize advertising where permitted. Advertising choices can depend on your browser, location, consent selections and Google settings. Where required, visitors may receive a consent message allowing them to accept, reject or manage advertising choices. Consent settings are configured through the site’s Google-certified consent system.
Analytics and technical records

Privacy-conscious commercial-action events may identify the page and action clicked but are designed not to include a person’s name, email or message contents. We do not sell a visitor mailing list.

We retain inquiry and business records only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose, legal obligations, fraud prevention and dispute resolution. You can ask about, correct or request deletion of information you sent directly to Jasper Journeys, subject to records we must retain.
Children
This website provides general travel information and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children.
