Day 1: arrive and orient
Keep the first day easy. Walk downtown, check current conditions, choose a nearby viewpoint or lake, and plan dinner without overcommitting after travel.
Day 2: anchor experience
Choose one larger experience: a major lake, canyon, waterfall, scenic drive, guided activity or moderate hike. Add one nearby stop and leave room for weather.
Day 3: slow morning and local support
Use the final day for a relaxed walk, local shopping, coffee, visitor essentials, photos, and any missed viewpoint that conditions allow.
